Transforming an IKEA shelf
No matter what type of workshop you use! Couture, DIY, scrapbooking, this idea is perfect!
Perfect, because simple and VERY economic!
YOU WILL NEED:
-3 IKEA shelves 2 to 9 cubes and 1 to 6 cubes!
-2 thick MDF sheets covered with melamine on top, should measure 10.16 x 20.32 x 7.62 cm (4x8x3'')
-3 pine board or wood board of your choice. Size: 30.48 x 2.54 x 10.16 cm (12x1x4'')
-12 bolts and nuts to fix the boards to the shelves
-Screws of 7.62 cm (3") to make the wood framing
-1 liter of white paint finish
-1 liter of white paint
-Small finishing nails
-A tube for caulking or filling holes
-A tube ofLiquid nails
By assembling the Ikea shelves with boards, her husband had a very precise idea in mind. Make her a huge workspace with some storage to no longer know what to even do with it!
He connected the two 9 cubes shelf with boards
Then added the 6 cubes shelf and added more boards.
He then placed and attached melamine-coated MDF boards to the top.
He just had to fill the empty spaces with baskets to store all his DIY material! A Dream Workshop!
