After bananas, eggshells, coffee grounds and baking soda, I just learned that we also need cinnamon when planting our seeds and seedlings!

Cinnamon is an anti-fungal and a natural antimicrobial. It helps to prevent the appearance of fungi that attack shoots that are too wet.

And since we have had rain in such abundance this year, I think it would be a very good idea to think about adding some to your soil.

When planting your seeds and shoots, indoors or outdoors, sprinkle the soil with cinnamon powder, add soil on top before planting your seeds or shoots, and then sprinkle a new layer of cinnamon on the ground.
