It is the strawberries season, there are plenty of them and they are ver savory. It is the perfect time to bake this dessert that tastes 1,000 times better with the good summer strawberries of Quebec!
- 2.5 cups of sliced strawberries
- Instant pudding with vanilla or cheesecake flavor.
- 2 cups of milk
- 12 Graham crackers
- 3.5 cups of Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream if you prefer
For the topping
- Graham biscuit breadcrumbs
- Chopped nuts
- Chocolate syrup
- Superfine sugar
Cook the pudding according to the instructions on the box using 2 cups of cold milk.
Incorporate 3 cups of whipped cream (keep a half cup for later.)
In a 8-inch square pan, pour a layer of this cream.
Spread a layer of Graham crackers.
Pour half of the remaining pudding mixture over the biscuits.
Add lots of sliced strawberries.
Make a second layer of Graham crackers.
Pour the rest of the pudding, strawberries again and a last layer of biscuits.
Finish with a layer of whipped cream and sprinkle few strawberries.
Let it for 4 hours to the refrigerator before serving.
