A Halloween party cannot be complete without themed drinks, whether they are alcoholic or not.

To help you prepare for your party this year, here are 6 fantastic recipes. There's something for everyone!

1. The Witches' Cocktail

With its indigo color, this cocktail is very enticing! For the kids, just leave out the alcohol.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce of vodka
  • 1/2 ounce of lime juice
  • 2 ounces of raspberry liqueur
  • 2 ounces of Sprite
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) of edible silver glitter
  • 1 drop of purple food coloring

Preparation:

  1. In a large shaker, pour the vodka, raspberry liqueur, lime juice, and silver glitter.
  2. Shake to combine.
  3. Pour into a glass and add Sprite on top.

2. The Spider Bite

Alcoholic or not, this cocktail hides spider eggs ready to bite you!

Ingredients:

  • cooked tapioca
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vanilla extract
  • A cocktail mix of choice: blueberry syrup and lemonade or coffee liqueur and vodka, for example
  • Crushed ice

Ingredients:

  • 10 ml of lemon juice
  • 10 ml of vodka
  • 10 ml of grenadine
  • 10 ml of Baileys

4. Halloween Punch

This punch bowl will be the star of your spooky table! For the kids, naturally, leave out the alcohol.

Ingredients:

For the ice hand:

  • 600 ml of water
  • 1 latex glove
  • 8 sheets of gelatin

For the ginger syrup:

  • 100 ml of water
  • 100 g of powdered sugar
  • 50 g of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 5 cloves

For the punch:

  • 2 liters of dark-colored fruit juice (pomegranate, grape, blueberry...), well chilled
  • 2 liters of well-chilled sparkling water
  • 300 ml of amber rum or vodka (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Soak the gelatin sheets in water.
  2. Bring 600 ml of water to a boil.
  3. Drain the gelatin sheets and melt them in the boiling water.
  4. Pour the water into the latex glove.
  5. Tie the glove and put it in the freezer for 24 hours.
  6. Cut and peel the ginger.
  7. Bring 100 ml of water to a boil with the sugar.
  8. Add the ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  9. Strain the syrup thus obtained.
  10. In a bowl, mix the sparkling water, fruit juices, amber rum, and ginger syrup.
  11. Remove the latex glove from the frozen hand and place the hand in the mixture.

Note: You can also make an orange punch and place a red dye-tinted ice hand or red fruit juice in it.

5. Autumn Sangria

This sangria is perfect for Halloween... and for all autumn evenings, in fact!

  • 50 ml of cider
  • 500 ml of fruity white wine
  • 200 ml of vodka
  • 85 ml of citrus liqueur
  • 65 ml of caramel syrup
  • 3 apples

6. The Green Witch's Potion

Here's a mysterious drink with devastating effects... if you drink too much!

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml of lime jelly powder (Jell-O)
  • 250 ml of boiling water
  • 60 ml of pineapple juice
  • 60 ml of ginger ale
  • sesame seeds
  • ice cubes
  • 60 ml of vodka (optional)

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, pour the lime powder and mix it with a cup of boiling water.
  2. Add the pineapple juice and ginger ale. Mix again and keep cool.
  3. Dip the rims of the glasses in water, then in the sesame seeds.
  4. Place the ice cubes and pour 60 ml of vodka, if desired.
  5. Mix and drink the potion!
