One cannot resist maple syrup. In a beautiful golden pie, it’s the height of happiness!

Ingredients
1 baked pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
1 cup (250 ml) of 35% cream
3/4 cup (210 ml) of maple syrup
3/4 cup (150 ml) of brown sugar
4 tbsp (60 ml) of cornstarch
4 tbsp (60 ml) of cold water
1 tbsp (15 ml) of butter
Preparation
1. In a saucepan, bring to a boil the cream, maple syrup, and brown sugar.
2. In a bowl, dilute the cornstarch in water, and pour into the boiling maple syrup mixture, whisking until thickened.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the butter.
4. Whisk again.
5. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes and pour into the pie crust.
6. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours before serving.
