Option 1: Shrimp and Smoked Salmon Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 packet of gelatin
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of Nordic shrimp
  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped chives
  • 1 cup of cream

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine the gelatin and milk.
  2. In the bowl of a food processor, mix the shrimp, cream cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat the milk in the microwave for a few seconds and add it to the mixture.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and add the chives.
  5. With an electric mixer, whip the cream until firm peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mixture using a spatula.
  7. Divide into four ramekins.
  8. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of Philadelphia cheese
  • 1 10-ounce can of tomato soup
  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 packet of gelatin
  • 1/2 cup of cold water
  • 1 can of drained shrimp

Preparation

  1. In a double boiler, melt the cheese and tomato soup.
  2. In a bowl, combine the gelatin with cold water.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the melted cream cheese, gelatin, and all remaining ingredients.
  4. Beat with an electric mixer and transfer to the fridge for 2 hours.
  5. Serve with crackers.
