Spring break is coming to an end and getting back to the routine will happen this week for many of you. That means you'll need original, but simple and quick recipes that will please your whole family. 

A dish that only takes 30 minutes to cook and a few minutes to prepare, it's hard to find a simpler dish. Moreover, this chicken casserole is packed with flavors that will appeal to the whole family. 

A winning recipe all around!

Ingredients
● 8 pieces of chicken, boneless
● 1 onion, sliced
● 4 tablespoons of butter, divided
● 4 garlic cloves
● 1/4 cup of brown sugar
●1 tablespoon of honey
● 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
● 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
● 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
● Salt and pepper


Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees f and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Season the chicken and cook for 2 minutes on each side.

3. Transfer the chicken to the baking dish and add the onion slices on top.

4. In the same pan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.

5. Add the garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

6. Add the brown sugar, honey, oregano, thyme, and basil.

7. Pour over the chicken and onion.

8. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
