We often wonder how we could cook turnips differently... Well, look no further! Combined with carrot and maple syrup, it's nothing but bliss for your taste buds.
Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon of oil
1 leek (white part only), chopped
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 turnip, peeled and chopped
4 cups of chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of cardamom
Salt, pepper
3 tablespoons of maple syrup
1/2 cup of 15% table cream

Preparation
In a saucepan, sauté the onion in oil.
Add the carrots, turnip, leek, and chicken broth.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
Add the nutmeg and cardamom, salt, and pepper.
In a blender, purée the mixture.
Return the soup to the saucepan, add the maple syrup and cream.
