Ingredients
For the meatballs:
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup cooked and cooled white rice
1 egg
1 onion
1 clove garlic
pepper and salt
½ cup flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups chicken broth
¼ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the meatballs: chicken, cooked rice, egg, grated onion, a clove of garlic, salt, and pepper, except for the flour and oil.
Form meatballs and roll them in flour.
In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil.
Cook the meatballs for about 7 minutes. Set aside.
In the same pan, melt the butter and add the flour, whisking.
Incorporate the chicken broth, sour cream, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Bring the sauce to a boil and return the meatballs to the pan.
