The perfect summer snack!
We love S’mores over the campfire. So why not recreate this mix of flavors and textures in a cold version? It's the perfect snack for the hot days coming up!
Ingredients:
½ cup (250 ml) whole milk
2 ½ cups (750 ml) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
5 ounces (141 g) cream cheese, at room temperature
7 ounces (198 g) marshmallow cream
1 box of 5.9 ounces (167 g) instant chocolate pudding mix
12 whole Graham crackers
A pinch of salt
Preparation:
1. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving the sides overlapping, to make it easier to remove.
2. In a large bowl, whisk the pudding mix, milk, and ½ cup of whipped topping until thick and smooth.
3. Spread at the bottom of the baking dish and smooth with a rubber spatula.
4. Freeze to set.
5. In a medium bowl, beat the marshmallow cream and cream cheese at room temperature until smooth and lump-free.
6. Fold in the remaining whipped topping and a pinch of salt.
7. Pour over the pudding mix and smooth the top with a rubber spatula.
8. Cover with aluminum foil and freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm enough to cut.
9. Remove from the dish and place on a cutting board.
10. Cut into 12 equal squares, the size of Graham crackers.
