Ingredients
1 ½ pounds of beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 stalks of celery
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
3 (15 oz) cans of diced tomatoes
1 (6 oz) can of tomato paste
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
2 tsp of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of basil
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of thyme
2 bay leaves
2 cups of beef broth
Pepper and salt to taste

Preparation
In a large pot, cook the meat, onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender.
Stir in the undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, oregano, basil, paprika, thyme, and bay leaves.
Stir in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
Let it simmer for 2 hours then remove the bay leaves.
