My daughter is the greatest cookie baker I know! Last night, she concocted these cookies for her school snack! What a disappointment when she woke up this morning to find the dish completely empty! They didn't last long here! Poor darling!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips or chunks

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, mix the yogurt, sugar, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer,
  3. add the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Beat at low speed, then fold in the chocolate chips or chunks.
  4. On an ungreased baking sheet, drop the dough by the spoonful.
  5. Bake in oven for 8 to 14 minutes.
