Ingredients :

  • 2 pounds of medium-lean ground pork
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) toasted flour
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation :

  • In a bowl, combine the ground pork, cloves, onions, cinnamon, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, then roll them in flour.
  • In a large skillet or pot, melt the butter and brown the meatballs.
  • Add the boiling water, cover, and let simmer for 1 hour.
  • In a small bowl, combine the flour with a bit of cold water.
  • Pour into the pot.
  • Let simmer until the sauce thickens.
