Because there's nothing better than a good homemade creton recipe

Cretons with oatmeal and milk are perfect and you will be pleasantly surprised by the texture. This classic will be perfect to create beautiful bites that your guests will love. 

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (1 kg) of ground pork 
  • 2 onions finely chopped 
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of water 
  • 2 cloves of garlic 
  • 1/2 cup (55 g) of oatmeal or oat flour 
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of milk 
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of pepper 
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) of allspice 

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, combine the pork, onion, water, and garlic.
  2. Cook for 1 hour. 
  3. Add the salt, pepper, spices, oatmeal, and milk and continue cooking for 1 hour.
  4. Whip with an electric mixer and let cool.
  5. Enjoy!
