It is prepared in a few easy steps and will perfectly enhance all your pasta dishes.

Ingredients

● 1 lb (450 g) of ground beef
● 1 can of 6 oz (190 ml) tomato paste
● 6 oz (190 ml) of water
● 24 oz (475 ml) of tomato purée
● 5-6 cloves of garlic, minced
● 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of olive oil
● 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of granulated sugar
● 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of dried oregano
● 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of onion powder
● 1 teaspoon (10 ml) of garlic powder
● 1 cup (250 ml) of fresh basil, chopped
● Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation

Heat the oil in a large pot and sauté the garlic for 2-3 minutes.

Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the tomato purée, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and basil. Mix.

Fill the tomato paste can with water and add it to the pot.

Let simmer for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
