This Alfredo sauce is easy to prepare and requires only a handful of ingredients. Moreover, it can be prepared in about 5 minutes! Toss your pasta in this sauce or pour it over chicken.

It will make a change from the Wednesday Bolognese sauce and you can use it for both dinners with guests and office lunches!

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup (250 ml) of heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup (125 g) of butter
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) of minced garlic
  • 2 cups (500 g) of grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) of ground black pepper

Preparation :

  1. Put the cream and butter in a saucepan over medium heat and let it simmer.

  1. Add the garlic while whisking and simmer for 30 seconds.
  2. Turn off the heat and stir in the parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  3. Continue whisking until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  1. Serve immediately.

It's disarmingly simple!

You can sprinkle parmesan over your pasta dish coated in sauce or add freshly ground pepper or fresh herbs if desired.
