A perfect dinner for autumn!
Don't know what to prepare for a weekday dinner and want to change the routine? Here is a perfect recipe that will bring comfort to the whole family this autumn season.
Ingredients (for 4 people):
1 cabbage
2 tomatoes
1 pound (400 g) of ground meat
1/2 lemon
5 cumin seeds
50 g of grated Gruyère cheese
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
1. Peel and wash the cabbage
2. In a pot, boil salted water and add the cabbage.
3. Blanch for 10 minutes.
4. Cut the tomatoes and cook them with a bay leaf, the juice of half a lemon, cumin seeds, salt, and pepper.
5. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
6. Drain the cabbage and cut it into strips.
7. Add the cabbage to the tomatoes and let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the bay leaf.
8. Put the vegetables in a gratin dish and add the ground meat.
9. Sprinkle with grated Gruyère cheese and bake in a hot oven at 450°F (230°C) for 20 minutes.
