Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of linguine
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 pound of shrimp
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  2. In a pan, melt the butter and add the shrimp, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the wine and lemon juice, then salt and pepper. Let simmer for a few minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Add the pasta, lemon zest, and parsley.
  5. Top with parmesan when serving.
