Since the warmth won't arrive anytime soon, why not take the opportunity to cook some comforting dishes. 


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of medium-lean ground pork
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 4 cups of boiling water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dry mustard
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 cup of browned flour
  • Salt and pepper


Preparation :

  • In a bowl, combine the ground pork, cloves, onions, cinnamon, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Form meatballs, then roll them in the flour.
  • In a pan, melt the butter and brown the meatballs on all sides.
  • Add the boiling water, cover, and let simmer for 1 hour.
  • In a small bowl, mix the flour with a little cold water.
  • Pour into the pot.
  • Let simmer until the sauce thickens.
