These easy cheeseburger puffs make a perfect dinner or snack!
It's a recipe everyone will love, from little ones to adults. These small bites are easy to eat and reheat quickly for a comforting and delicious meal on the go. It's also a great after-school snack.
It's much tastier and healthier than store-bought pizza pockets!

Ingredients:
1/2 pound (225 g) of lean ground beef
1/3 cup (85 g) of minced onion
1/3 cup (85 ml) of barbecue sauce
¾ cup (85 g) of flour
1 teaspoon (5 g) of baking soda
¾ cup (190 ml) of milk
1 egg lightly beaten
1 cup (250 g) of shredded cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon (2.5 g) of onion powder
1 teaspoon (5 g) of dried parsley
3 string cheese cheddars
pickles, for topping
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and thoroughly grease a muffin pan.
2. Sauté the onion and ground beef until it's no longer pink. Drain well.
3. Add the barbecue sauce and cook on low heat until the sauce thickens. Let it cool completely.
4. Mix the flour, baking soda, and spices in a bowl.
5. Add the milk and egg and stir until smooth.
6. Fold in the shredded cheese and beef. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.

7. Divide into 9 muffin wells.
8. Cut each string cheese into 3 pieces and gently press one into the center of each muffin. Cover with batter.

9. Bake in the oven for 19 to 21 minutes until slightly golden and puffed.
