Ingredients
1 fresh pineapple, cut into pieces
1 pound (454 g) of bacon
1/4 cup (65 ml) brown sugar
1/4 cup of honey
juice of 1 lime
4 tsp (20 ml) sriracha sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
Finely chopped cilantro
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Cut the bacon slices in half.
3. Wrap a piece of pineapple in a piece of bacon and place it on the sheet.
4. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, honey, lime juice, sriracha sauce, and soy sauce.
5. Brush each bacon-wrapped pineapple piece.
6. Sprinkle cilantro leaves on top.
7. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
8. Insert a toothpick into each bite.
