This quick and easy dish, combining sweet and spicy, is a delightful blend of honey, ginger, and garlic on wonderful shrimp that can be served with steamed vegetables or pasta. 

Add it to your menu!


Ingredients

1 pound (454 g) medium shrimp - peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons (15 ml) olive oil 

1 tablespoon (5 g) red pepper flakes 

1 teaspoon (5g) minced garlic 

1/4 of a yellow onion, chopped

1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground ginger 

1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey 

salt and pepper to taste


Preparation

  1. Heat olive oil and red pepper flakes in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, ginger, and honey; cook and stir until the mixture is fragrant

2. Add the shrimp and cook for 5 minutes, stirring as needed, until they are pink and opaque. 

3. Serve immediately with chosen sides.
