
Here is a recipe in all simplicity... Cook the vol-au-vent
My favorite meal for so many years! I've always loved puff pastry, no matter what recipe it appears in.
But vol-au-vent is my favorite. And what can I say about béchamel sauce... YUM
Ingredient
1 box of 6 store-bought vol-au-vent
For the sauce:
1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
2 tablespoons of flour
1 teaspoon of chicken broth
1 package of vol-au-vent
frozen peas
cooked diced carrots
Preparation
For sauce:
1. Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil, then let simmer. You want to obtain a fairly thick sauce.
3. Stir the sauce regularly during cooking.
4. Add pieces of cooked chicken, peas, and cooked carrots.
Puff pastry Vol-au-vent:
1-Cook according to the instructions on the package.
