Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) of mayonnaise
  • 1 jar of 500 ml (6 oz) sour cream
  • 1 packet of leek soup mix, dry
  • 110 g (4 oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 package (approximately 10 oz - 280 g) frozen spinach, thawed, drained, and chopped
  • 1 large round sourdough bread for making a bowl (optional)

Preparation

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts, and chopped spinach.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  3. Remove the top and inside of the sourdough bread and fill with the mayonnaise mixture.
  4. Tear the bread pieces into chunks for dipping.
