Ingredients
A 3-pound pork loin roast
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons dried basil
½ teaspoon black pepper
¾ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup soy sauce
⅔ cup grated parmesan cheese
Preparation
Place the pork loin roast at the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix the dried oregano, dried basil, black pepper, salt, chopped garlic, honey, soy sauce, and grated parmesan cheese.
Pour the sauce over the pork roast.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove the pork from the slow cooker and pour the liquid into a saucepan.
Shred the meat using two forks.
Bring the cooking juice to a boil, then simmer until the sauce is thicker.
Pour the sauce over the meat.
