Creamy and melting, this fudge is the easiest to make and the best there is. You can't get it wrong!
INGREDIENTS
- 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 2/3 cup of 35% cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Grease an 8 x 8 inch mold and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar, cream, and vanilla. Stir.
- Bring to a boil, lower the heat and let simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place the powdered sugar in a stainless steel or glass bowl. Whisk for 30 seconds to break up lumps.
- Pour the hot cream over the powdered sugar and wait 1 minute.
- Using a whisk, mix until the powdered sugar is completely incorporated (stir quickly; do not let the mixture set).
- Pour into the prepared mold and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
