Creamy and melting, this fudge is the easiest to make and the best there is. You can't get it wrong!

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 2 cups of brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup of 35% cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grease an 8 x 8 inch mold and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the brown sugar, cream, and vanilla. Stir.
  4. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and let simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Place the powdered sugar in a stainless steel or glass bowl. Whisk for 30 seconds to break up lumps.
  6. Pour the hot cream over the powdered sugar and wait 1 minute.
  7. Using a whisk, mix until the powdered sugar is completely incorporated (stir quickly; do not let the mixture set).
  8. Pour into the prepared mold and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Cut into squares and enjoy!
