
Hit the mark tonight; these meatballs are a hit every time I cook them
The ultimate family meal, everyone loves them.
Ingredients:
Meatballs:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oats
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 onion, finely sliced
For the sauce:
2/3 cup maple syrup
4 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp ketchup
1/4 tsp Tabasco

Preparation
In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the meatballs. Shape into small meatballs.
In a hot skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides.
Transfer the meatballs to an 8-inch square dish and place the onion slices on top.
In a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.
