Sunshine in a jar for your toasts and croissants!
In winter, we miss the fruits of the fields and the tasty watermelons. Fortunately, we can enjoy delicious clementines from sunny countries, generally at a good price.
To make the most of this small citrus fruit, why not turn it into jam? During the holidays, it's a beautiful sunny treat to serve at brunch or a hostess gift that will be truly appreciated.
Here's a succulent clementine jam recipe that's easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
1.3 kg of clementines
1 lemon
750 g of sugar
200 g of water
Required equipment:
a copper basin
a spatula
a jam thermometer
jam jars

Preparation:
2. Cut the clementines of the other half - leaving the skin on - into small pieces.
3. Pour the water into a copper basin and add the lemon cut in half (with the skin) and then the sugar.
4. Heat over low heat until the mixture reaches 125°C (257°F)
5. Place the clementines in the syrup and let cook, stirring occasionally for 18 to 20 minutes.
6. Fill the jam jars to the brim and close them.
7. Turn the jars upside down for 2 minutes, turn them back, and let them cool.
That's it! All that's left is to enjoy!
You'll love changing your sweet habits, leaving behind strawberries and raspberries for your morning toasts! Long live the clementines with their sunlit taste and their so invigorating orange color!
