Aloe vera is a well-known plant, used for many years by people all over the world. But not everyone knows how to use it to its full potential, in many situations.

Here is a guide to help you make good use of your aloe plant.

1. To soothe mild burns

Always keep an aloe vera plant in your kitchen. In case of a minor burn, cut a small piece of aloe and apply it immediately on the burn for a quick relief.

2. To relieve the symptoms of asthma

Make your own steam bath. This involves boiling a few leaves of natural aloe vera in a pot of water and inhaling the steam that emerges to relieve your respiratory tract.

3. To soothe the skin

Against burns, sunburns or insect bites, use the Aloe gel that you can extract yourself from the leaf or get an ointment in a store.

4. To make a face mask

To make a moisturizing mask, mix a teaspoon (5ml) of aloes vera gel with a teaspoon (5ml) of honey and apply this mixture on the face. Leave for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse. Your skin will be soft!
