When you bought your glass top stove you probably think it will be so much easier to maintain than the regular white stoves! You couldn't have been more wrong! But do not worry, there are easy ways to clean it that will actually make it look clean!

Here are 6 ways to have a really clean stovetop.

1. Commercial Products

Probably the easiest solution! For a quick clean up all you need is a soft scrub product, a non-abrasive scouring pad and a glass top stove razor scraper. This will help you clean the stovetop easily and relatively fast.

2. DIY Cleaning Solution

Happy Mama Tales shared an easy DIY cleaning solution that only requires three ingredients! Start by squirt your favourite dish soap on the stovetop, then sprinkle generously with baking soda and add a bit of hydrogen peroxide. With a sponge, gently scrub the stovetop then wipe clean.

3. Heavy Duty Cleaning : Scrub Brush

If your stovetop is really dirty and has lots of burned-on grime, you will need a more powerful tool. You can use a scrub brush to help you do the work! Simply use a commercial or homemade cleaner with it.

4. Soapy Dish Towel

For a very easy cleaning, let the stove do the work! Sprinkle baking soda all over the stovetop, then lay a hot and soapy dish towel on top. Then use that same towel to gently scrub and wipe clean.

5. Toothpaste

For spot cleaning, use an old toothbrush and a bit of toothpaste! You can even add a little baking soda if needed.

6. Lemon Juice

First, sprinkle the stovetop with baking soda and then squeeze the juice of one lemon on top. Let sit for around 10 minutes and gently scrub with a sponge. The lemon will help lift any grime and it's natural!
