A perfect cake for the summer that you absolutely have to prepare this weekend and during your holidays. This cake is a must to memorize.

It requires no cooking, so it's a perfect dessert to prepare with children when first teaching them about cooking.

This cake is a go-to dessert that you can serve at an impromptu barbecue with friends as easily as at a somewhat more fancy reception. All your guests will go nuts for this creamy delicious ultra-tasty dessert.

I challenge you to taste this cake and say you don't love it! It's absolutely impossible not to fall in love with each savory bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 1 can of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 3 cups of powdered sugar
  • 4 sliced bananas
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (16 ounces) Cool-Whip container, thawed or 1 1/2 cup heavy whipped cream
  • 1 (4 ounces) maraschino cherries
  • 1 cup coconut or walnuts, chopped
  • Heated chocolate sauce

Preparation

In a bowl, combine Graham crumbs and melted butter.

Press the mixture firmly into a 9x13-inch glass dish. Cool in the freezer for about 10 minutes.

In a bowl, whisk cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter and powdered sugar until creamy, about 5 minutes.

Don't be tempted to add milk!

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the graham crust.

Add a layer of sliced bananas, then spread the pieces of pineapple over top.

Top with a layer of Cool Whip and maraschino cherries

Sprinkle with chocolate syrup and transfer to fridge for at least 4 hours
