A woman ordered a lobster worth $200 to do something rather unexpected!

The very unusual scene took place at the Gente di Mare seafood restaurant in Golfo Aranci, on the Italian island of Sardinia.

The restaurant co-owner, Antonio Fasolino, explained to local media that a customer ordered Catalan-style lobster with linguine: "At first, I thought she was joking. Then I realized that the lady was serious and wanted to do a good deed."

Mr. Fasolino explained that he took a lobster out of the tank, then weighed it in the kitchen before telling the customer that the crustacean weighed nearly two kilograms, which amounted to a price of $200.

The customer asked for the lobster to be handed to her alive in a bucket, then she questioned the restaurant's employees about whether the crustacean might "get hurt" if she released it from such a height.

The employees assured the customer that the lobster would make a safe fall, so the lady gently let it drop into the water.

The customer's husband filmed the scene and in the video, you can see the lobster sinking into the water.

The restaurant co-owner told local media: "Seeing her joy and enthusiasm, I was also moved. She was very happy and delighted to have fulfilled this wish, and we were happy with her."

It's safe to say that such a story is unlikely to happen again anytime soon!
