We often wonder how we could prepare turnips differently ... Well, look no further! Combined with carrots and maple syrup, they're a real treat for the taste buds.

Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon oil
1 leek (white part only), chopped
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 turnip, peeled and diced
4 cups chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
Salt and pepper
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 cup 15% cream

Preparation
In a saucepan, sauté the onion in the oil.
Add the carrots, turnip, leek, and chicken broth.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add nutmeg, cardamom, salt, and pepper.
In a food processor, blend into puree.
Return soup to pan. Add maple syrup and cream.
