Actor Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively decided to donate $1 million on Monday to help those most affected by this terrible crisis. It was on their respective Instagram accounts that the two lovers announced the donation.
The post was obviously a huge success on Instagram. At the time of this writing, it has received over 2 million likes and over 14,700 comments. Most of them are congratulatory messages directed to the actor and his wife.
Lets remind ourselves that Ryan Reynold was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and also holds American nationality, which probably explains why he decided to give money to a Canadian organization and to an American organization. A very beautiful gesture which we hope will inspire other public figures to take a similar initiative.
