Would you like to feed birds and watch them from your window? They will be very grateful to you, especially with the cold weather that the months of January and February reserve for Canada. The less birds have to move to find food, the more likely they will be to survive. In winter the birds are constantly looking for food containing protein.

You will need:

-Kouglof mold

-Fresh cranberries

-Nuts and seeds

-Peanuts

-Dried cranberries

-Lard

How to do:

1) Cut lard into cubes and melt it over low heat in a saucepan

2) In a large bowl, mix nuts, seeds, peanuts, dried cranberries

3) Pour the lard into the bowl and mix well

4) Add the fresh cranberries into the Kouglof mold

5) Add the mixture of seeds and nuts in the mold and press everything with a wooden spoon

6) Refrigerate all night

7) Hang in a dry and covered place to prevent rain and wind from destroying the wreath
