Get rid of the ants in and around the house in one night!

Ants are a big problem for many people: you see them milling around, but it is not always clear how they entered the house.

Therefore it is important to treat both the inside and the outside to solve the ant problem once and for all!

Here's what to do.

Vinegar
In a spray bottle, pour in half water and half vinegar. Spray the areas where the ants were seen in the house. This mixture will also work outside.

Lemon juice
If the ants have resisted the vinegar, give lemon juice a try, as citric acid disorientates the ants: in a spray bottle, pour in half water and half lemon juice. Spray the spots frequented by ants, both inside and outside the home.

Cornstarch
Sprinkle cornstarch along the walls: the ants can't digest the cornstarch and move away from this danger.

Coffee grounds
Ants really don't like coffee! So spread out your used coffee beans all around the house to keep them away.

Large grain salt
To remove the ants, sprinkle the soil with coarse salt. Put it near windows and all openings leading to the house. Inside, pour a line of table salt along the walls where the ants usually enter, not to mention window sills, closets, wardrobes, and so on. Salt repels ants and is safe for the environment. [pub]

Chalk
If you can afford it, draw a thick line with chalk (inside the wall or outside near the foundations.) For some reason I don't understand, ants don't cross a chalk line!
