He finds a free palette on the Internet and decides to stain it ... His living room is no longer the same!

You can find good bargains on the web ... This is what happened to this man when he found a company that was giving wooden pallets. He took one and he transformed it admirably and didn't spend any money.

He has made it a coffee table, and I am jealous! I think I'll get a wooden pallet too!

To carry out this project, you need:

  • a wooden pallet
  • 4 wheels
  • 1/4 inch screws
  • a sander machine (it's easier)
  • 80/150/220 grit sandpaper
  • woodstain
  • wood finish (polyurethane) - the finish you want

You must :

  • Sand the wooden pallet.
  • Remove dust.
  • Clean it thoroughly with a cloth dampened with a little rubbing alcohol.
  • Stain the palette using a cloth. Always go in the same direction as the grain of the wood. Let dry for at least 12 hours.
  • Apply three layers of polyurethane and let dry for 8 hours between layers.
  • Screw the wheels under the pallet. Be sure not to screw them too close to the edge.

And here's the result !

Gorgeous!
