You can find good bargains on the web ... This is what happened to this man when he found a company that was giving wooden pallets. He took one and he transformed it admirably and didn't spend any money.
He has made it a coffee table, and I am jealous! I think I'll get a wooden pallet too!
To carry out this project, you need:
a wooden pallet
1/4 inch screws
a sander machine (it's easier)
80/150/220 grit sandpaper
wood finish (polyurethane) - the finish you want
You must :
Sand the wooden pallet.
Clean it thoroughly with a cloth dampened with a little rubbing alcohol.
Stain the palette using a cloth. Always go in the same direction as the grain of the wood. Let dry for at least 12 hours.
Apply three layers of polyurethane and let dry for 8 hours between layers.
Screw the wheels under the pallet. Be sure not to screw them too close to the edge.
