In recent years, chicken coops have become popular, both in rural and urban areas. This summer will be no exception. But, just as we think about offering frozen snacks to our dogs in hot weather, we should also think about our chickens!
A video showing how to make cold corn snacks for chickens has been very popular on Facebook and TikTok, and we think that more and more chicken lovers will think about 'cooking' this kind of fresh snack.

Here's what you'll need to make special corn donuts for your chickens!
A silicone donut mold
1 box of whole grain corn
water
Instructions:
1. Fill the donut molds about halfway with corn. (One box of corn is suitable for a 6-donut mold).
2. Add water to the molds, stopping at about 1/4" from the top of the molds.
3. Freeze everything for 1 or 2 hours.
4. Unmold and serve to the chickens.
