Are you already planning your spring cleaning? Or do you have kids that, once again, coloured the walls with markers? If yes, you need this hack to make your own "Magic Eraser" sponges at home! Buying them at the store can be rather expensive, but they are so handy! Luckily, with this recipe, each sponge will only cost you around 10 cents.
Materials (per sponge)
1 cup hot water
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon Borax
Bucket or big bowl
Start by filling your bowl or bucket with hot water, you should put one cup of hot per sponge you want to make. (5 sponges = 5 cups of water)
Then, add in the baking soda and the Borax, again you need to adjust the quantity per sponge you are making. Mix until the ingredients have fully dissolved in the hot water.
Finally, add in the sponges to the mixture and allow time to sit. The sponges should soak inside the bowl until they are fully saturated with the mixture.
Squeeze out excess liquid from a sponge and you are ready to start cleaning!
