There is nothing better than homemade fresh bread, well maybe this milky bread roll recipe! This original Italian recipe will give you the most fluffy delicious rolls. It is actually quite easy to make if you follow the instructions below! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 500 gr of flour (if you can find Italian type 0 flour)
- 30 g of sugar
- 10 gr of brewer's yeast
- 70 gr of soft butter
- 230 ml of milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 whole egg
- 2 yolks and 5 drops of vinegar (to brush the rolls)
Directions:
- Start by combining the milk with the sugar and crumbled yeast. Then add in the egg and flour, and add the salt and add the butter. You can use a hand-mixer or a stand mixer for this.
- Cover the dough with film and let rise until it has double in size.
- Divide the dough into equal parts and form your rolls. Let them rest for 15 minutes and then brush each rolls with the yolk and vinegar mixture.
- Bake at 340°F (170°C) for 15/20 minutes until the rolls are golden.
