This trick works best if your plants are inside a circular bin, round rub or a simple pot.

All you need is your plants potted and a cheap clear umbrella from the dollar store!

Here are the steps:

  1. Make sure all your plants are potted properly.
  2. Remove the handles from the umbrellas and leave them open. If you wish, you can keep the handles on, it depends of your pot and your plants.

  3. Place the umbrella over the plants to create a dome! The clear plastic will let the light in but will still trap moisture creating the perfect greenhouse for your plants!

On top of that, your mini greenhouses will act as a shield and protect your precious plants from harsh weather and/or heavy rain, and of course unwanted pests.

You can get as many umbrellas as you need! But remember, it will work better if you are using pots or circular bins.
