More and more people are choosing homemade recipes to clean their house, to avoid spreading chemicals in the air they breathe, because these chemicals stay much longer than we think in our homes.

Did you know that the air of many homes is more polluted than the outside air? It's worrying isn't it? And all that because of all the chemicals we use every day.

People are forced to buy air exchangers, others will get plants that help clean the air and as said before, many people will stop using chemicals, because we can do the same things with less harmful products, and for a fraction of the price.

We would be crazy to do without it, right ? The only difference, it takes 2 minutes of preparation to make the mixture. That's all !

To clean the stove:

You will need:

- 500 g (2 cups) baking soda

- 1/2 cup (125 ml) water

- 5 to 10 drops of lemon essential oil (optional)

- Paper towels

- Old wet rags (more eco-friendly)

- A sponge

How to do:

1) Mix the 3 ingredients

2) Wipe off most of the disaster with wet paper towels, or with old wet rags (more eco-friendly)

3) Add the mixture on the stains that cover the stove

4) Use the sponge to scrub the stains

5) Wipe it off with wet paper towels, or with old wet rags (more eco-friendly)

To clean a skillet:

You will need:

- 250 ml (1 cup) water

- 15g (1 tablespoonful) cream of Tartar (spice department at the supermarket)

- A sponge

How to do:

1) Add water and cream of tartar in the skillet

2) Bring the water to a boil and let cool

3) Use a sponge to rub the burnt food in the skillet, then rinse

4) Add some cream of Tartar and rub again with the sponge

5) Add some cream of Tartar under the skillet and rub again with the sponge

6) Then clean the skillet normally
