The Internet is great for finding tips to help in our daily lives! And this tip about eggs is so great that it would be a shame not to share! Did you know that the most easiest way to peel a hard boiled egg is with a push pin?
Yes, you read that right! Windy Sukiyaki, a Japanese restaurant in New York shared this incredible tip on their blog.
Here are all the steps.
1. First, eggs should be at room temperature.
2. In a large pot bring the water to a boil and get a push pin in the meantime.
3. Carefully make a hole in the base of the egg.
4. No need to worry, the egg will not break!
5. Windy Sukiyaki recommends putting a little salt in boiling water and immerse the eggs with holes.
6. Lower the heat to minimum and cook: 6 or 7 minutes for the soft-boiled eggs or 8 to 10 minutes to cook completely.
7. Once cooked, run under cold water to cool down.
8. Remove the shell, it will be super easy! Simply knock the egg on a hard surface or roll it softly.
You will never go back to another technique after this!
