Russian artist Elizabeth Delektorskaya spends her days making cute little woolen cats. They're adorable and almost look alive, or at least, out of an animated film!

Elizabeth adopted wool because it is a material that cats love to play with. Cat-lovers would be delighted to decorate their homes with these little fabric felines. And for those who love cats, but are allergic to them, this is a great collection to undertake!

To create these adorable cats, she uses 100% natural sheep wool and a special felting technique. It takes her from 3 hours to 7 days to finish each kitten.

"I really like cats and, once I tried the dry felting technique, I really liked it and I couldn't stop," said the artist to Bored Panda.

Although it is probably difficult for North Americans to order the artist's works in Russia,  her work can certainly inspire artisans for future DIY creations.

Here are some absolutely adorable photos!

Note that the artist herself wrote on Instagram that even if her creations make you want to cuddle them, they are not toys. They are fragile and must be handled gently.
