The surprises of renovation
Have you ever made major renovations in your home? It can happen that we find all kinds of weird objects in our walls. Some people have found lunch boxes filled with money (the lucky ones), some rare books, some old love letters and more!
I personally never found anything like this (I'm not lucky!) But this California couple found a rather funny note in the walls of their bathroom.

The renovation of the bathroom
Alex and Jess Monney were working on remodeling their bathroom. We are talking here about a complete renovation, where the walls are demolished and where we start from zero. The bathroom of the previous owners was not that bad, but the couple who lived in the house now wanted a more modern bathroom and a bigger shower for Alex.
The discovery
It is by demolishing the walls that they discovered a photo with this message :
"Hi! We're the Shinseki's ! We remodeled this bathroom in summer 1995. If you're reading this, that means that you're remodeling the bathroom again. What's wrong with the way we did it? "
And a message from their little rabbit!
The message did not end there! There was also a picture of their little bunny, Cassie, saying that she would be the next Cadbury bunny and that she was a very clean bunny. What a sense of humor!
On Twitter
Alex uploaded a photo of his note on Twitter, where it amassed over 80,000 "likes" in just 24 hours. People are officially obsessed with the Shinseki family and their 1995 shenanigans!
He would like to let them know that ...
Some Internet detectives even tried tracking down the Shinsekis to let them know that their note had been discovered. Alex said that he never met the family, but here's what he would like them to know: " Your bathroom, and home, is lovely. We can't wait to raise our little baby girl here. Sorry we're changing the bathroom, but the shower is too small for me to fit in: I'm 6' and my wife is 5'. Thank you for the amazing surprise! "
