We receive a lot of messages from people who have a big problem with flies at home or in the field. They can ruin their summer.
We are being asked for tips to keep them away or stuff to kill them.
So today we will focus on a great trick to trap flies and kill them with a mix that releases CO2.
Make a trap by cutting a plastic bottle in 2: pour ¼ teaspoon of baking powder, ¼ cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of lukewarm water.
Place the upper section of the bottle upside down on the secondehalf to create the trap.
How does it work? Sugar attracts flies, baking powder releases CO2, flies breathes and dies, unable to get out of the bottle.
Prepare several traps and scatter them all over the house and outside.
