Say goodbye to the bad odors in the house with these 7 great tips!

Tips and Crafts

We all like to have a nice smelling home: smells of cooking, cigarette smoke, garbage bag... are all unpleasant smells that we try to overcome on a daily basis.

Here are 7 ways to make your home smell as good as possible, without bothering you!

Softener. Some softener sheets on a standing fan completely change the smell of the room by transmitting their perfume to the ambient air.

Coffee. Fill a small jar with coffee beans and place a lantern in the middle. The coffee beans will absorb all the bad odors and diffuse a pleasant smell.

Slow Cooker. Use your slow cooker as an air freshener! Pour 4 cups of water into the slow cooker, add 4 tablespoons of baking soda and plug in the slow cooker without putting the lid on. Baking soda will absorb the odors. Variation: Use the slow cooker to diffuse a pleasant odor by heating water and lemon, water and vanilla extract and cinnamon, etc.

Herbs and fruits. Citrus peels, fresh herbs, cinnamon sticks and star anise are some of the very natural ingredients that emit good smells! Place the ingredients in a glass jar, cover with water and leave to act! In addition it is very nice to watch!

Air filter. If you have an air exchanger, consider using essential oil to scent the house. Simply pour a few drops on the filter of the device and put back when it no longer smells. The essential oils of lavender, lemon, tea tree, grapefruit and orange are among my favorites, but it's really to your liking!

Car Freshener. Car fresheners with a clip are perfect for ventilation grills. This will be a little extra that will make the difference in some poorly ventilated rooms.

Odor enhancer. These little grains of perfume for laundry melt when they are heated! Use an ambient oil burner and pour some (Gain, Downy) to quickly change the odor in a room. [pub]
