Wet weather is ideal for spiders, and this is not what’s missing here in North America.

If you’re looking for easy solutions and especially without chemical product, here are 10 techniques you could test depending on your needs.

HERE ARE 10 TECHNIQUES TO SAY GOODBYE TO SPIDERS WITHOUT CHEMICAL PRODUCT:

1) ESSENTIAL OIL:The peppermint is well known to keep spiders away. Get peppermint essential oil and make this little recipe. Mix 750ml (3 cups) of water 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of dish soap and 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of peppermint oil essential in a spray bottle. Spray all around windows and doors, corners of the walls and ceilings, and everywhere spiders use to hide. If it’s outside, repeat the operation after a heavy rain.

2) WHITE VINEGAR:
Add white vinegar mixed with water in equal parts in a spray bottle. Use this mixture to moisten the cracks and crevices of the house.

3) COTTON BALLS:
Dunk cotton balls in essential oil with peppermint and place them outside the house away from the rain, under the porch, under the balconies, and so on. Change the cotton balls regularly.

4) CITRUS FRUITS:Rub citrus peels on baseboards, window sills, baseboards and shelves to prevent spiders from making their webs everywhere. Spiders hate citrus fruits!

5) SALTWATER:
Saltwater is very good to kill spiders. Spray a solution made of 3.78 liters of hot water and 28 g. of salt directly on the spiders, their webs and their nests.

6) CINNAMON:
Sprinkle cinnamon around the house, this tip helps prevent spiders from entering into your home. If you see spiders in your house, they were probably already there before.

7) CHESTNUTS:
Spiders don’t like the smell of chestnuts. Put some chestnuts on the windows sills.

8) CEDAR: 
If you can’t afford cedar cupboards everywhere in your house, you can find blocks of cedar in hardware store, put these blocks into cupboards and drawers.

9) TOBACCO: 
Spiders hate the smell of tobacco, add some water to tobacco balls to reveal the smell of tobacco. Put this tobacco balls here and there in your house. Spiders will flee!

10) COCONUTS OIL:
This famous oil, we couldn’t without it! It’s useful everywhere! Mix 1 part of coconut oil with 2 parts of water to prevent spiders from entering your home!
