Decorative glass vases and bowls are available everywhere and at better prices than more vases or decorative elements.
The tip that I present you today will allow you to transform a very ordinary glass vase in only 30 minutes. Choose the color according to your decor and you will have a unique vase to decorate the home.
- Glass Vase (a pot will do the trick)
- Food coloring
- Mod Podge
- Spray bottle
- Cooking plate
Pour 8 drops of food coloring, the color of your choice into the vase.
Add 1 tablespoon of Mod Podge and 1 teaspoon of water to the vase and mix well with a small stick.
Tilt the vase by turning to cover all the inside of this mixture.
Place the bowl upside down on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper to protect it and bake it at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Personally, I find that the colored glass is already beautiful just like that.
But the project you will see in video below provides 2 other steps.
When the vase is cooled down, spray it with a mixture of water and vinegar.
Cover the vase with Mirror Spray Paint over the drops.
Here's the result!
Whether you go all the way or stop after the vase is cooked, you will get a different and unique result every time. This is a great decorating tip that costs a lot less than buying colored vase!
