This is the favorite spread at home, the Nutella is second at breakfast time!
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 ½ cup 35% cream for cooking
3 cups maple syrup
- In a saucepan, melt the butter.
- Add the flour and stir continuously until browned.
- When stirring, add cream and milk. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour in maple syrup and stir
- Pour the mixture into sterilized mason jars.
